-patch of 15th. July, 1910, I have the honour to inform you

that on the 4th. of April, 1910, the Colonial Secretary wrote
to the Consular Authorities in this Colony for Siam, Japan,
United States of America, France and the Netherlands forwarding
copies of Government Notifications Nos. 93 and 94 of 1st. April
1910, and requesting them to be good enough to bring these
Notifications to the attention of their Governments, and to
state that this step had been taken in order to give effect to
the resolution of the Shanghai Opium Conference and that I
hoped that their respective Governments would reciprocate by
prohibiting the export of Prepared Opium, Dross Opiun, Morphine
or Compounds of upium to this Colony except for medicinal pur-
-poses.
